Construction of the two-storied Rural Community Development Centre at Bolpur progressed steadily throughout 2024 and was successfully completed in February 2025. The Centre has been established with the objective of strengthening the socio-economic empowerment of local women artisans through skill enhancement and upskilling initiatives.

The project aims to improve livelihood opportunities by equipping women with market-relevant skills and facilitating direct market linkages through local haats and other marketing platforms. By promoting entrepreneurship and access to sustainable income-generating opportunities, the Centre is expected to contribute significantly to the economic empowerment and self-reliance of women in the community.
