ATSEC West Bengal, a network of 15 NGOs, is an intervention of ATSEC India National Chapter working in 26 states of India on anti-trafficking issues. ATSEC West Bengal is one of the very visible anti trafficking state chapters in the ATSEC network working for the prevention of trafficking and sexual abuse of children and women both within the state, region and across the border in partnership with Bangladesh and Nepal. With its partner organizations ATSEC West Bengal has been combating inter-district inter-state and inter-country trafficking.
Women’s Interlink Foundation is the Secretariat of ATSEC West Bengal. Mrs. Aloka Mitra is the State Coordinator of ATSEC West Bengal. ATSEC, West Bengal under the leadership of the State Coordinator has been successful in coordinating and working together with many eminent member organizations which has been a challenging and a learning experience.
